Each year, the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee hosts several signature events and fundraisers. These events are our primary way to raise awareness about the hunger in our region as well as raise funds to help support our operations.

Hunger Action Month – this entire month is dedicated to bringing awareness to the issue of hunger in our nation, and locally. We host events and ask the community to get involved with Hunger Action Day on September 12th by wearing orange!

MONTHLY VOLUNTEER NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS are usually held on the 2nd Tuesday and 2nd Thursday monthly from 5p.m. to 7 p.m. and on the 3rd Saturdays of the month from 9 a.m. until noon. Interested volunteers should call to confirm dates and times.
