The need in our region is at an all-time high and will continue to rise as the effects of the pandemic linger on into 2021.

In ALL of FY20, Second Harvest gave out 12.1 million pounds of food.

Since March 2020, Second Harvest has given out more than 14 million pounds of food,

surpassing our whole 2019 total pounds distributed in just nine months.

We desperately need your help to feed our neighbors in need.

Click the DONATE NOW button on top of the page. Every donation helps a neighbor in need and we need your help!

Due to the effects of the pandemic, it is projected that an additional 33,000 people in our region will struggle to find food this fall. We need your help to raise awareness to the growing need for food assistance here in Northeast Tennessee. Consider making a donation or hosting a virtual food drive with your friends and family. Every dollar you give Second Harvest goes straight to buy food to fight hunger. We need you to spread the word that hunger is a curable condition if we all work together to END HUNGER ONE BITE AT A TIME!

In these uncertain times of crisis, Second Harvest Food Bank is continuing its mission to feed the people of Northeast Tennessee. We have seen unprecedented need during the last few months going from feeding on average 40,000 people per month to well over 45,000 each month during the pandemic. As people continue to lose their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we know the number of people who are food insecure will rise. Please consider donating to Second Harvest to help us eliminate hunger in our region.
